After a defensive mix-up in La Villa's zone, Francesco Peralta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 6th minute, Milton Ramirez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Villa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 12th minute, Milton Ramirez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabio Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Aizprua in the 14th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, What F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabio Bermudez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Aizprua. Fabio Bermudez was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Miguel Aizprua capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miguel Aizprua really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. What F.C.'s Fabio Bermudez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save What F.C. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Aizprua in the 28th minute of play forced What F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabio Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, What F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Aizprua came free, but Fabio Bermudez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Aizprua in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Bermudez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Milton Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, What F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Aizprua came free, but Fabio Bermudez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Milton Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, What F.C.'s Fabio Bermudez got control of the ball when Milton Ramirez tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Aizprua made a kick off. Milton Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Bermudez having to interfere. Francesco Peralta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Francesco Peren made a huge save. Milton Ramirez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Milton Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Fabio Bermudez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Aizprua in the 66th minute of play forced What F.C.'s goalkeeper Fabio Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to What F.C. getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Hector Gómez hit a great ball. Francesco Peren made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Francesco Peralta sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, What F.C.'s Reggie Urane got a free kick in the 76th minute. What F.C.'s Fabio Bermudez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milton Ramirez in the 77th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Milton Ramirez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 87 minutes, Lucho Barrera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Villa and the What F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucho Barrera hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, La Villa's Sebastián Fernandez got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 92nd match minute, What F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Milton Ramirez struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Fabio Bermudez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Villa.
