Spectators: 6795 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1795, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute, Javier Carranza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Escobar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Quiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cheito Morales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Espino in the 11th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramón Vergara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cheito Morales. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. After 15 minutes, Raul Espino made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Santa Cruz F.C.'s Cheito Morales tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the match, Santa Cruz F.C.'s goalkeeper Cheito Morales had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramón Vergara. A collision led to Santa Cruz F.C. getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Fernando Toledano hit a great ball. In the 27th minute of the match Matias Treviño shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cheito Morales showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cheito Morales made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Ramón Vergara sent off a good shot on target. Raul Espino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Cheito Morales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Raul Espino made the kick off in the second half. Cheito Morales came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by El Rincón's Ramón Vergara. But to his dismay, Ramón Vergara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 56th minute, Raul Espino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute, Giancarlo Valdez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 59 minutes, Raul Espino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Rincón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Espino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Santa Cruz F.C. getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Humberto Gutierrez hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Santa Cruz F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Vergara came free, but Cheito Morales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67thth minute of the game Ramón Vergara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santa Cruz F.C.'s Cheito Morales was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Santa Cruz F.C. defense, Raul Espino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cheito Morales. The Santa Cruz F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cheito Morales should have stopped the shot. Francesco Quiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Escobar having to interfere. Humberto Escobar came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Cruz F.C.'s Beto Agurto. But to his dismay, Beto Agurto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Cheito Morales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucho Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Santa Cruz F.C.'s Cheito Morales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Espino in the 87th minute of play. After 87 minutes, Fernando Toledano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santa Cruz F.C. and the El Rincón players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Santa Cruz F.C. getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fernando Toledano hit a great ball. Raul Espino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El Rincón fully deserved thier win.
