Spectators: 6001 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1001, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Juan Ulloa got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Dep.Ancon's zone, Juan Ulloa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés Mota came out of the goal and Juan Ulloa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Ulloa in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moisés Mota saved Dep.Ancon from getting behind. Pablo Osorio hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Manuel Pimentel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Cedeño in the 9th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Joe Briceño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 17 minutes, Pablo Osorio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dep.Ancon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Osorio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Enrique Spadafora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puerto Caimito F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Spadafora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moisés Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dep.Ancon's Moisés Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Ulloa in the 24th minute of play. After 24 minutes, Ramón Lozano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dep.Ancon and the Puerto Caimito F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. 27 minutes into the game, Dep.Ancon's Ramón Cedeño nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Pimentel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ramón Cedeño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Pimentel having to interfere. Reinaldo Lozano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manuel Pimentel. Puerto Caimito F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Puerto Caimito F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calito Ramirez to maneuver through the defense. Dep.Ancon's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hector Ramírez in the 41st minute. Dep.Ancon's Hector Ramírez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Manuel Pimentel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramón Cedeño to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Ulloa in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moisés Mota saved Dep.Ancon from getting behind. A hard shot 58 in the game by Enrique Spadafora from a close distance when the talented Moisés Mota managed to make a qualified save. Dep.Ancon's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Dep.Ancon's zone, Juan Ulloa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés Mota came out of the goal and Juan Ulloa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Quiros charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Quiros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Dep.Ancon got a freekick which was hit by Julio Quiros. Moisés Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Ulloa in the 68th minute of the match. With a little luck, Dep.Ancon's Moisés Mota got control of the ball when Enrique Spadafora tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Juan Ulloa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Spadafora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Moisés Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moisés Mota made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Enrique Spadafora sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute Ramón Cedeño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Pimentel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moisés Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Ulloa in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Dep.Ancon's goalkeeper Moisés Mota had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Spadafora. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Ulloa in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moisés Mota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ramón Cedeño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Enrique Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A nice corner shot did that Hector Ramírez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Pimentel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dep.Ancon were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Puerto Caimito F.C. for a fine match.
