When Cañazas's Franklin Ríos in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joe Carrillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cañazas's Alexis Henriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonidas Zapata in the 54th minute of play. Hermes Barrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Fernández hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Cañazas's Alexis Henriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonidas Zapata in the 65th minute of play. A very good chance. Marcos Escalona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Ríos in the 92nd minute of the match. Joe Carrillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexis Henriguez having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
