In the 7th minute, Alejandro Osorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Galaxy Eleven FC's Marcos Ortiz got a free kick in the 11th minute. Rigoberto Ramírez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio García's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Rigoberto Ramírez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulpiano Muñoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th match minute, Galaxy Eleven FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Murillo to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, Totín Bultrón was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galaxy Eleven FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nuevo San Juan F.C. the free kick. Totín Bultrón kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Galaxy Eleven FC's zone, Antonio García stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Ramírez came out of the goal and Antonio García tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Heraclides Castillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Martín De Diego successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rigoberto Ramírez came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Nuevo San Juan F.C.'s Reinaldo Calderón. But to his dismay, Reinaldo Calderón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Martín De Diego was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Totín Bultrón capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Totín Bultrón really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After the first half Nuevo San Juan F.C. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Totín Bultrón made the kick off in the second half. Rigoberto Ramírez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio García, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When Ulpiano Muñoz came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Nuevo San Juan F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulpiano Muñoz couldn't finish the play. Heraclides Castillo charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heraclides Castillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Galaxy Eleven FC got a freekick which was hit by Heraclides Castillo. Martín De Diego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Pinilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Ramírez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulpiano Muñoz in the 63rd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Calito Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martín De Diego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Totín Bultrón in the 67th minute of the match. After 69 minutes of play, Nuevo San Juan F.C.'s Ulpiano Muñoz made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rigoberto Ramírez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rigoberto Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Martín De Diego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Ulpiano Muñoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Totín Bultrón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Raul Tello came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Nuevo San Juan F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Tello couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galaxy Eleven FC's goalkeeper Rigoberto Ramírez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Nuevo San Juan F.C.'s Pedro Navarro got a free kick in the 88th minute. Rigoberto Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martín De Diego having to interfere. Américo Oberto kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Calito Gutierrez hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
