In the 6thth minute of the game Leonidas Ramirez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Cipolletti's Moisés De Diego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Quiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Amaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Gabriel Henriguez charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Henriguez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The wind increased when Leonidas Ramirez made the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Club Cipolletti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atletico Nacional:s goal. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Atletico Nacional. Matias De Paredes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Moisés De Diego. 3-0. After a rather tough play, Atletico Nacional's Matias De Paredes got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute, Mārtiņs Bujanovskis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Nacional fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Moisés De Diego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonidas Ramirez went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Moisés De Diego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonidas Ramirez in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moisés De Diego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustavo Briceño kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A hard shot by Ivan Arias from long distance, 98 minutes into the match, got David Quiros's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Mārtiņs Bujanovskis hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. Atletico Nacional walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
