Guillermo Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milton Mora in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucho Mendieta in the 15th minute of play forced Saravia FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Palma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Totin Gil kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Milton Mora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Saravia FC fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Saravia FC's Milton Mora looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ortega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Gonzalez having to interfere. A collision led to New Géminis Darién F.C. getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Hector Quintero hit a great ball. Guillermo Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Orozco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milton Mora in the 31st minute of play forced New Géminis Darién F.C.'s goalkeeper Guillermo Gonzalez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Monchi Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Saravia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giancarlo Osorio came free, but Lorenzo Palma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Milton Mora notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of New Géminis Darién F.C.'s Guillermo Gonzalez. Guillermo Gonzalez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lorenzo Palma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giancarlo Osorio in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Saravia FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Milton Mora's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guillermo Gonzalez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. When Milton Mora came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Saravia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milton Mora couldn't finish the play. Guillermo Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milton Mora, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Saravia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Totin Gil came free, but Lorenzo Palma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucho Mendieta in the 65th minute of play forced Saravia FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Palma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milton Mora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Guillermo Gonzalez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Saravia FC's Guillermo Gonzalez threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Milton Mora, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milton Mora got free with Guillermo Gonzalez in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Saravia FC booed when New Géminis Darién F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Bultrón didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute Lucho Mendieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Palma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milton Mora who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Guillermo Gonzalez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Pablo Orozco came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Saravia FC fans jumped to their feet. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Milton Mora sped through New Géminis Darién F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guillermo Gonzalez. In the 94th minute, Giancarlo Osorio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Géminis Darién F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Saravia FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
