Dé Zensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Ramírez having to interfere. Reinaldo Chavez hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Totín Bultrón charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee ignored JoJaEn's protests and gave Rafael Treviño a yellow card for diving instead. Rafael Treviño kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calito Gutierrez in the 60th minute of play forced JoJaEn's goalkeeper Cheito Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
