Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Heraclides Sánchez got the match started through his kick off. Javier Perez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 14th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ramon Carrillo. The audience was convinced that Heraclides Sánchez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Javier Perez was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Lorenzo Mota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Javier Perez made a huge save. Mortí's Javier Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heraclides Sánchez in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Heraclides Sánchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mortí getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Rafael Ortiz hit a great ball. Heraclides Sánchezs short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Javier Perez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot by Ramon Carrillo from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Javier Perez's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Heraclides Sánchez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Javier Perez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 47th minute, Mortí's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Heraclides Sánchez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Rafael Ortiz made the kick off in the second half. If Heraclides Sánchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 55 minutes, Jaime Spadafora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mañanitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Spadafora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heraclides Sánchez in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Perez saved Mortí from getting behind. Pedro De Leon's late challenge caught a Mortí's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro De Leon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Mañanitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro De Leon to maneuver through the defense. If Heraclides Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heraclides Sánchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 minutes, Mario Ortiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mortí and the Mañanitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hector Pinilla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Javier Perez. Mortí's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Mañanitas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
