Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Isla Iguana's zone, Luis Pinilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano De Paredes came out of the goal and Luis Pinilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th match minute, Isla Iguana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giancarlo Villalobos to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Bultrón hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Luis Gil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Ortega in the 11th minute of the match. Emiliano De Paredes was a little too slow when Lucho Peralta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Jose Herbruger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Lucho Peralta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Gil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giancarlo Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lucho Peralta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 26 minutes, Jose Herbruger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boquerón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Herbruger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Boquerón defense, Heraclides Nuñez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Gil. The Boquerón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Gil should have stopped the shot. After having played for 31 minutes, Elias Ortega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Isla Iguana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Ortega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boquerón's Luis Gil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giancarlo Perez in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Elias Ortega ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Gil was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Luis Pinilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boquerón's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Pinilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano De Paredes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jose Herbruger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Emiliano De Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giancarlo Perez to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Boquerón's Luis Gil got control of the ball when Heraclides Nuñez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Lucho Peralta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boquerón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Isla Iguana the free kick. In the 75th minute, Isla Iguana's Giancarlo Perez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luis Gil. Luis Gil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Emiliano De Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Herbruger in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Pinilla in the 95th minute of play forced Isla Iguana's goalkeeper Emiliano De Paredes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96thth minute of the game Jose Herbruger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Isla Iguana's Emiliano De Paredes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 98 minutes, Luis Gil successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
