Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) With an all-out effort, Los Algarrobos's Reinaldo Lozano threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Raul Morris, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Los Algarrobos's José Peren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Garcia De Paredes in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Ailigandí's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Morris came free, but Reinaldo Lozano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Raul Morris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Lozano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Milton Treviño during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Milton Treviño kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Ailigandí booed when Los Algarrobos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Barrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milton Treviño got his second yellow card in the match during the 24th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Los Algarrobos getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Milton Treviño hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Guillermo Tello sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Los Algarrobos's José Peren didn't even have to move. Humberto Castillero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. José Peren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Morris got free with Reinaldo Lozano in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Edgardo Morris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Edgardo Morris had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reinaldo Lozano. Ailigandí's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Morris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 40th match minute, Los Algarrobos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Barrera to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Garcia De Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgardo Morris came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Reinaldo Lozano could save by the left post.

The wind increased when Lorenzo Garcia De Paredes made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Morris in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reinaldo Lozano saved Ailigandí from getting behind. After 57 minutes of play, Los Algarrobos's Edgardo Morris made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reinaldo Lozano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 61 minutes, Azael Lozano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ailigandí and the Los Algarrobos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Ailigandí got a freekick which was hit by Azael Lozano. In the 62nd minute of the match Carlos Moscoso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reinaldo Lozano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, José Peren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Ailigandí defense, Edgardo Morris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reinaldo Lozano. The Ailigandí fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reinaldo Lozano should have stopped the shot. In the 71st match minute, Los Algarrobos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Morris to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Tello, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Edgardo Morris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reinaldo Lozano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Reinaldo Lozano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Morris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Raul Morris notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Ailigandí's Reinaldo Lozano. Reinaldo Lozano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Azael Lozano was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Los Algarrobos booed when Ailigandí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azael Lozano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Los Algarrobos's Edgardo Morris fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Felix Barrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Algarrobos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
