Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luchito Barrera kicked off to start the match. After 5 minutes, Romel Mora mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boquerón F.C. and the Divalá players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Boquerón F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Romel Mora. If Juan Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Divalá's Hermes Villarreal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Divalá from getting a goal against them. Boquerón F.C.'s Juan Quintero got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Divalá's Hermes Villarreal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Divalá from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Boquerón F.C.'s goalkeeper Reinaldo Brandao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luchito Barrera. Reinaldo Brandao made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Eduardo De Leon sent off a good shot on target. Juan Quintero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Reinaldo Brandao successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Pablo Carrillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Carrillo charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Carrillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Divalá booed when Boquerón F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Carrillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Luchito Barrera came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Divalá fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luchito Barrera couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Boquerón F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
