TITANES F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Icantí the free kick. The supporters of Icantí booed when TITANES F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Garcia De Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, TITANES F.C.'s Martín Palma ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alex Orozco. Alex Orozco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 7th minute, Sebastián Benavides left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TITANES F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Alex Orozco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toto De Diego went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute Felix Dely shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Morales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Icantí's Alejandro Pinilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. If Martín Palma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Icantí's Alex Orozco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Castillo in the 37th minute of play. Felix Dely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Alejandro Morales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Castillo scored 6-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Orozco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Castillo to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in TITANES F.C.'s zone, Felix Dely stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Morales came out of the goal and Felix Dely tried to chip the ball over his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martín Palma during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to TITANES F.C. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Martín Palma hit a great ball. Icantí were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after TITANES F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alejandro Pinilla took the corner. Alejandro Morales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beto Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Alejandro Morales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Icantí. Matias Pimentel might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejandro Morales. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Pimentel ran back to his position shaking his head. Alex Orozco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Castillo in the 88th minute of play. After some careless play in the TITANES F.C. defense, Matias Pimentel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Morales. The TITANES F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Morales should have stopped the shot. The supporters of TITANES F.C. booed when Icantí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beto Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The TITANES F.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
