Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute Francesco Castillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermes Valdez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes Caribe F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Romel Aizprua. When Humberto Ríos came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Macano F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Ríos couldn't finish the play. In the 9th match minute, Caribe F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Ríos to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Javier Fernández notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Caribe F. C.'s Hermes Valdez. Hermes Valdez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lorenzo Ríos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the game, Macano F.C's Javier Fernández nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermes Valdez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 19 minutes, Heraclides Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macano F.C and the Caribe F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Macano F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heraclides Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francesco Castillo during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Macano F.C's Francesco Castillo got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Lorenzo Ríos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caribe F. C.'s Humberto Mora got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilberto Agurto hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Humberto Mora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Moisés Corral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermes Valdez made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Javier Fernández sent off a good shot on target. Hermes Valdez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Castillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Humberto Mora to make the kick off. Francesco Castillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermes Valdez having to interfere. In the 52nd minute, Javier Fernández left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Macano F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 57 played minutes Macano F.C got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Castillo. If Francesco Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Heraclides Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Javier Fernández took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermes Valdez. Hermes Valdez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Hermes Valdez came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Macano F.C's Francesco Castillo. But to his dismay, Francesco Castillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 69 minutes of play, Caribe F. C.'s Humberto Mora made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moisés Corral was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 75 minutes, Romel Aizprua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caribe F. C. and the Macano F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Caribe F. C.'s Romel Aizprua got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Ríos in the 76th minute of play forced Caribe F. C.'s goalkeeper Hermes Valdez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Javier Fernández shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermes Valdez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Caribe F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Trejos came free, but Hermes Valdez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Torrijos charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Torrijos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Javier Fernández sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Francesco Castillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macano F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Francesco Castillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermes Valdez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermes Valdez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Fernández, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Macano F.C booed when Caribe F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Totin Agurto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermes Valdez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Trejos in the 97th minute of play. After some careless play in the Caribe F. C. defense, Javier Fernández kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermes Valdez. The Caribe F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermes Valdez should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Macano F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
