An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Palma in the 10th minute of play forced El Cristo SS's goalkeeper Traian Cârnu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, C.A.ANCON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose De Diego to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Gabriel Tello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.A.ANCON's Miguel Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.ANCON from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the game, Julio Bermudez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.ANCON's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Cristo SS the free kick. The supporters of El Cristo SS booed when C.A.ANCON was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, El Cristo SS's Miguel Fernandez threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victor De Paredes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gabriel Tello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesar Palma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Traian Cârnu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Traian Cârnu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Palma in the 42nd minute of play. Juan Zambrano charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Zambrano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes C.A.ANCON got a freekick which was hit by Juan Zambrano. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cesar Palma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesar Palma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Traian Cârnu made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Cesar Palma could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Traian Cârnu however easily saved by the left post. Traian Cârnu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 63rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Cesar Palma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesar Palma's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Traian Cârnu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Traian Cârnu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Palma in the 83rd minute. If Julio Bermudez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gabriel Tello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Cristo SS succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though C.A.ANCON had controlled the match.
