Spectators: 8490 (Terracing: 6920, Seating: 1560, VIP seats: 10) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brian Laudrup made the kick off which started today's match. The crowd rose to their feet as Florin Răducioiu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andrés Murillo. That made the score 1-0 in the 2 minute of play. Andrés Murillo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Henry Kolarov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 6 minute of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Gabriel Smith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. REAL COHOLICS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Smith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute, Martín Sánchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cañazas's Andrés Murillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Cañazas from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florin Răducioiu in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrés Murillo saved Cañazas from getting behind. Florin Răducioiu hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Arauz in the 18th minute of play forced REAL COHOLICS's goalkeeper Ramon Peralta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrés Murillo made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Brian Laudrup sent off a good shot on target. Fabio Arauz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. If Florin Răducioiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cañazas getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Franklin Batista hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Arauz in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Peralta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute Florin Răducioiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrés Murillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cañazas's Rolando Henríguez got a free kick in the 38th minute. A collision led to Cañazas getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Rolando Henríguez hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Brian Laudrup kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andrés Murillo. That made the score 4-0 in the 41 minute of play. Andrés Murillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Laudrup, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. REAL COHOLICS's Yu Zhi Yang was substituted for Edward Wojton. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Arauz was the one to do the kick off. Florin Răducioiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cañazas's Andrés Murillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Laudrup in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Henríguez in the 55th minute of play forced REAL COHOLICS's goalkeeper Ramon Peralta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrés Murillo came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by REAL COHOLICS's Brian Laudrup. But to his dismay, Brian Laudrup quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 59 minutes, Fabio Arauz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cañazas and the REAL COHOLICS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of REAL COHOLICS booed when Cañazas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Arauz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Smith hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. REAL COHOLICS's Ramon Peralta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save REAL COHOLICS from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, REAL COHOLICS's Ramon Peralta got control of the ball when Fabio Arauz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 69 played minutes Cañazas got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Jaen. REAL COHOLICS's Florin Răducioiu got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Ivan Amaya put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Andrés Murillo. Brian Laudrup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute of the match REAL COHOLICS got a corner. Cañazas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sergio Toledano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Cañazas's goalie and right to Brian Laudrup. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Cañazas's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 83 played minutes Cañazas got a freekick which was hit by Felix Quirós. Andrés Murillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Răducioiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. REAL COHOLICS were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Cañazas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sergio Toledano took the corner. Yu Zhi Yang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Murillo having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Brian Laudrup had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrés Murillo. Cañazas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brian Laudrup was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Andrés Murillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivan Amaya went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 98th minute, Brian Laudrup made a precise shot to the right of Andrés Murillo. Cañazas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. When the referee ended the match the REAL COHOLICS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
