After 4 minutes of play, Atalaya's Pablo Paredes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Aizprua was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 7th minute Pablo Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Aizprua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franklin Fernández sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexis Ramírez scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduardo Martini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 16 played minutes Vista Alegre got a freekick which was hit by Luis Morris. Pablo Paredes took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Aizprua. Gustavo Aizprua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Gustavo Aizprua didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pablo Paredes went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Gustavo Aizprua came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Atalaya's Eduardo Paredes. But to his dismay, Eduardo Paredes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Gustavo Aizprua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Aizprua didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tanek Kolbert went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Gustavo Aizprua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanek Kolbert in the 41st minute of play. Pablo Paredes scored 1-7 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Aizprua, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 1-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pablo Paredes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vista Alegre's Gustavo Aizprua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Fernández in the 51st minute of play. When Franklin Fernández came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Atalaya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franklin Fernández couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Franklin Fernández reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gustavo Aizprua. The goal made the score 1-8. Gustavo Aizprua made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Pablo Paredes sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the game, Tanek Kolbert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-9. Gustavo Aizprua was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 67 minutes, Américo Pinilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atalaya and the Vista Alegre players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gustavo Aizprua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Aizprua didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pablo Paredes went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-12 was the resulting score. Pablo Paredes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Gustavo Aizprua made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Eduardo Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franklin Fernández received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Gustavo Aizprua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atalaya played a much better game than Vista Alegre and deserved their victory. The Vista Alegre players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
