Gustavo Pinilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Totin Garcia De Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Alejandro Zapata kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sioguí Arriba F.C. defense, Nicolás Gomez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Pinilla. The Sioguí Arriba F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Pinilla should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Sioguí Arriba F.C.'s zone, Fernando Valdez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Pinilla came out of the goal and Fernando Valdez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sioguí Arriba F.C.'s Gustavo Pinilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Totin Garcia De Paredes in the 28th minute of play. Gustavo Pinilla came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s Nicolás Gomez. But to his dismay, Nicolás Gomez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Gustavo Pinilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Zapata in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Nicolás Gomez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aserrío De Gariché F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolás Gomez in the 45th minute of play forced Sioguí Arriba F.C.'s goalkeeper Gustavo Pinilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Reggie Murillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sioguí Arriba F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aserrío De Gariché F.C. the free kick. After 46 played minutes Sioguí Arriba F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Reggie Murillo. Gustavo Pinilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolás Gomez went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. The Sioguí Arriba F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aserrío De Gariché F.C. were winning 0-7.

But to his dismay, Totin Garcia De Paredes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Totin Garcia De Paredes scored 0-11 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Pinilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustavo Pinilla was a little too slow when Nicolás Gomez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-12. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejandro Zapata got free with Gustavo Pinilla in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, Nicolás Gomez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustavo Pinilla, 0-13. Gustavo Pinilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Totin Garcia De Paredes in the 97th minute of the match. Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
