The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Urane kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jaime Gómez. That made the score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. Andres Dely didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesar Pimentel went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Radowit Wiatrak was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Ricardo Treviño suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Victor Calderón charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Calderón the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oregano F.C.'s Wiliam Perez was substituted for Ricardo Treviño. The tension between the Boca Juniors and the Oregano F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 55 minutes, Raul Zapata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oregano F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Zapata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Urane in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Gómez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Oregano F.C. booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79th play minutes Victor Calderón shot 3-3, a short shot which went by Andres Dely and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Calderón in the 85th minute of play forced Oregano F.C.'s goalkeeper Andres Dely to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Dely made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Cesar Pimentel sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute Victor Calderón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Dely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Oregano F.C. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Rafael Urane hit a great ball. Boca Juniors succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Oregano F.C. had controlled the match.
