Tomaso Alfaro, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Martín Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emanuel Brandao took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaime Gómez. Jaime Gómez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Boca Juniors's Jaime Gómez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martín Quintero in the 24th minute of play. If Tomaso Alfaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Emanuel Brandao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Gómez came out of the goal and Emanuel Brandao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Martín Quintero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sioguí Arriba F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Martín Quintero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Gómez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Martín Quintero took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jaime Gómez to make any attempt to save it. Tomaso Alfaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Gómez having to interfere. Boca Juniors's Jaime Gómez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute, Sioguí Arriba F.C.'s Tomaso Alfaro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martín Quintero to make the kick off. Sioguí Arriba F.C.'s Tomaso Alfaro got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Brandao took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaime Gómez. Jaime Gómez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Tomaso Alfaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Emanuel Brandao notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Boca Juniors's Jaime Gómez. Jaime Gómez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martín Quintero in the 86th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jaime Gómez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sioguí Arriba F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomaso Alfaro in the 88th minute. After taking down the ball on Sioguí Arriba F.C.'s corner Tomaso Alfaro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jaime Gómez quite easily take care of the ball. Jaime Gómez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martín Quintero in the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Tomaso Alfaro came free, but Jaime Gómez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Martín Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Sioguí Arriba F.C. were the better team. Sioguí Arriba F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
