Andrés Quiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Paredes went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Romel Peren came free, but Andrés Quiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrés Quiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Wilfredo Mora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of OSO F.C. booed when Aserrío De Gariché F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Ramírez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Rigoberto Gomez ran back to his position shaking his head. After 78 minutes of play OSO F.C.'s Jorge Paredes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Aserrío De Gariché F.C. booed when OSO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulpiano Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s Javier Castillo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
