Lucho Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heraclides García in the 58th minute of the match. If Heraclides García had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luis Garcia De Paredes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Ramírez in the 64th minute. The supporters of The Blues FC booed when Baby Barza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Gonzalez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Blues FC's goalkeeper Lucho Diaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Manuel Ramírez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Manuel Ramírez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Garcia De Paredes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Blues FC's Alexis Agurto was substituted for Alberto Alfaro. Baby Barza's Luis Garcia De Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis Agurto in the 92nd minute of play. Gustavo Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Blues FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
