In the 24th minute, Eusebiu Spirea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute Eusebiu Spirea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrés Quiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebiu Spirea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Aserrío De Gariché F.C. defense, Rosendo Ugutz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrés Quiros. Rosendo Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Quiros having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexander Ramos to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, one of Ciencias FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s Andrés Quiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Aserrío De Gariché F.C. from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Ramos in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Henriques saved Ciencias FC from getting behind. When Mario Corral fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s protests and gave Mario Corral a yellow card for diving instead. If Eloy Gil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s Javier Castillo suffered a concussion after 73 minutes and had to leave the field. Raul Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Christian Bultrón took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvestre Henriques. Ciencias FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 96th match minute, Ciencias FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebiu Spirea to maneuver through the defense. Ciencias FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
