The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andrés Quiros didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 4th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After 7 played minutes Finca Corredor F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Barresi. Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s Andrés Quiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Barresi in the 9th minute of play. Aureliano Salvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Castillo in the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s goalkeeper Andrés Quiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tor-Andre Vatle. Victor Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmondo Barresi might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrés Quiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmondo Barresi ran back to his position shaking his head. Tor-Andre Vatle struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Andrés Quiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Finca Corredor F.C.. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Javier Castillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aserrío De Gariché F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Castillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aureliano Salvino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Javier Castillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureliano Salvino was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmondo Barresi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Javier Castillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aureliano Salvino having to make a save. If Javier Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Castillo in the 83rd minute of play forced Finca Corredor F.C.'s goalkeeper Aureliano Salvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute Javier Castillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Salvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrés Quiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmondo Barresi in the 87th minute of play. Aserrío De Gariché F.C. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
