Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rosario Huerga took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Chical FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frutos Mendoza came free, but Roberto Enterria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldemar Adamski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Roberto Enterria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, CD Cuenca's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Chavarri came free, but Batista Alaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes, Adrianinho Varela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Cuenca and the Chical FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, CD Cuenca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho Varela to maneuver through the defense. Batista Alaña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coyette Emesabel in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Chical FC's Coyette Emesabel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Batista Alaña made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 1-1 became the score in the 21st minute when Rosario Huerga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Frutos Mendoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Zuzen Cervera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrianinho Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. CD Cuenca's Frutos Mendoza shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 42nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Roberto Enterria but with some difficulty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

CD Cuenca's Rosario Huerga got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Waldemar Adamski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Enterria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chical FC's zone, Waldemar Adamski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Enterria came out of the goal and Waldemar Adamski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute Coyette Emesabel suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Viteri Carredano charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viteri Carredano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes CD Cuenca got a freekick which was hit by Viteri Carredano. With his leg Batista Alaña managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Chical FC's Richard Chavarri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 76 in the game by Richard Chavarri from a close distance when the talented Batista Alaña managed to make a qualified save. CD Cuenca's players were relieved. In the 80th minute, Chical FC's Borja Grado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Batista Alaña. Batista Alaña yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Chical FC's zone, Rosario Huerga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Enterria came out of the goal and Rosario Huerga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chical FC's Roberto Enterria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Adamski in the 92nd minute of play.
