If Armando Escamilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Tonio Hubidia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victoriano Sala was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 16th minute Armando Escamilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Sala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SUBURBIO FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Xavon Castaño hit a great ball. SUBURBIO FC's Victoriano Sala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonio Hubidia in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Tonio Hubidia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Sala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SUBURBIO FC booed when Paquinza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veto Vidarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victoriano Sala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tonio Hubidia's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Armando Escamilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Sala having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonio Hubidia in the 36th minute of play forced SUBURBIO FC's goalkeeper Victoriano Sala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Sala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tonio Hubidia, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tonio Hubidia to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SUBURBIO FC's zone, Tonio Hubidia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Sala came out of the goal and Tonio Hubidia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 55th minute of the match Xavier Montaña completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Xavier Montaña a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Santos Lemayo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. SUBURBIO FC's Victoriano Sala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save SUBURBIO FC from getting a goal against them. Victoriano Sala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tonio Hubidia, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, SUBURBIO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tonio Hubidia came free, but Victoriano Sala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tonio Hubidia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Sala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Armando Escamilla notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of SUBURBIO FC's Victoriano Sala. Victoriano Sala was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute, Tonio Hubidia made a precise shot to the right of Victoriano Sala. SUBURBIO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xinto Solis in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Sala saved SUBURBIO FC from getting behind. In the 92nd minute Armando Escamilla clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. Juan Robredo charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Robredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victoriano Sala went to the wrong direction when Santos Lemayo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Victoriano Sala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonio Hubidia in the 97th minute of play. Paquinza's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
