Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Intriago Cardeñosa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Zarando Reñe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Chamochin having to interfere. Roque Chamochin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dannes Pelegrina in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Zarando Reñe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Roque Chamochin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeru Telena in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roque Chamochin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roque Chamochin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zarando Reñe's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Juan-Carlos Abos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Unceta, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ximenes Loyola hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Mauro Unceta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 37 minutes of play, El Nacional's Ximenes Loyola made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roque Chamochin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute Zarando Reñe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Chamochin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan-Carlos Abos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Intriago Cardeñosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roque Chamochin came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by El Nacional's Ximenes Loyola. But to his dismay, Ximenes Loyola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zarando Reñe to make the kick off. If Zarando Reñe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roque Chamochin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zarando Reñe in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, UD Tamaute's goal looked a bit too open when Zarando Reñe came free, but Roque Chamochin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan-Carlos Abos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Intriago Cardeñosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roque Chamochin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zarando Reñe's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The audience was convinced that Zarando Reñe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Chamochin was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 77th minute of the match Camilo Olloa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roque Chamochin skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the UD Tamaute defense, Ximenes Loyola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roque Chamochin. The UD Tamaute fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roque Chamochin should have stopped the shot. Dannes Pelegrina might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roque Chamochin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dannes Pelegrina ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89th minute Zeru Telena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Chamochin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes El Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Ascazua. When Zarando Reñe came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the El Nacional fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zarando Reñe couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the El Nacional players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
