The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Méndez Solsona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Mauricio in the 7th minute of the match. Zuberoa Salsoro kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Urki Baptiste charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urki Baptiste the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, one of Guabillo SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guabillo SC. Cuero Zumalburu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Vinyals in the 20th minute of the match. Cuero Zumalburu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Vinyals, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Rios Zarzosa came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Chivoli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rios Zarzosa couldn't finish the play. Cuero Zumalburu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Vinyals in the 25th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Chivoli FC's Valencia Valdeboys slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cuero Zumalburu. That made the score 1-1 after 27 minutes of play. 32 minutes into the match, Guabillo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Vinyals came free, but Cuero Zumalburu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guabillo SC's Cortez Zumaya pulled a muscle in his leg after 33 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Chivoli FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Zuberoa Salsoro hit a great ball. When Luis Vinyals came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Chivoli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Vinyals couldn't finish the play. Rios Zarzosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Cuero Zumalburu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ismael Oquendo made a kick off. If Rios Zarzosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chivoli FC booed when Guabillo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Oquendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rios Zarzosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cuero Zumalburu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cuero Zumalburu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Vinyals went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Ismael Oquendo took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Méndez Solsona. Méndez Solsona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Rios Zarzosa put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cuero Zumalburu.
