Diego Travassos was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Panchito's players had a chance to rest. When Lara Millano came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the FC Panchito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lara Millano couldn't finish the play. Rey Braden succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. The supporters of FC Panchito booed when Union FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lopez Larrategui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flor Oliba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan-Alfredo Casavela, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Rey Braden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Checa notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Union FC's Flor Oliba. Flor Oliba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Rey Braden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 27 minutes, Rey Braden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Panchito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rey Braden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Panchito's Juan-Alfredo Casavela slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Flor Oliba. That made the score 3-0 after 29 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Union FC's zone, Juan-Alfredo Casavela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flor Oliba came out of the goal and Juan-Alfredo Casavela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Union FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Abel Villavedon hit a great ball. Lara Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flor Oliba having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Lara Millano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Flor Oliba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

In the 52nd minute, Rodolfo Checa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flor Oliba came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Panchito's Lara Millano. But to his dismay, Lara Millano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The FC Panchito fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when FC Panchito's Rey Braden looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Flor Oliba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lara Millano in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Union FC's Victorino Palmero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-1. Juan-Alfredo Casavela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flor Oliba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Flor Oliba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lara Millano went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Lopez Larrategui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Manuel Manojo made a huge save. After having played for 81 minutes, Lara Millano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Panchito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lara Millano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lara Millano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Flor Oliba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 minutes of play, FC Panchito's Lara Millano made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flor Oliba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lara Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flor Oliba having to interfere. When Rodolfo Checa came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the FC Panchito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Checa couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that FC Panchito were the better team. FC Panchito's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
