Rodney Rotaetamorga scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Macías Yanguas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Sergio Portal took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Perlaza Riera to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Portal got free with Perlaza Riera in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Erruki in the 36th minute of play forced UD Timpu's goalkeeper Macías Yanguas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodney Rotaetamorga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Macías Yanguas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casimiro Erruki took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Macías Yanguas. Macías Yanguas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quiñónez Alison was the one to do the kick off. ALEXMORE Football Club's Perlaza Riera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Pujol in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, ALEXMORE Football Club's John Yanez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. 59 minutes into the game, UD Timpu's Antonio Pujol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Perlaza Riera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Macías Yanguas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Erruki in the 63rd minute of the match. ALEXMORE Football Club's Perlaza Riera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Pujol in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, John Yanez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ALEXMORE Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but John Yanez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, ALEXMORE Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Quiñónez Alison came free, but Perlaza Riera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olcay Usum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Macías Yanguas made a huge save. After 80 played minutes UD Timpu got a freekick which was hit by Zigor Sotelo. Macías Yanguas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of John Yanez's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Quiñónez Alison ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Perlaza Riera was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. A collision led to ALEXMORE Football Club getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Abel Guerrico hit a great ball. In the 96th minute Antonio Pujol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perlaza Riera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When UD Timpu's Quiñónez Alison in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the referee blew the final whistle, UD Timpu could leave the field as winners, despite ALEXMORE Football Club having more of the ball for most of the match.
