After 2 played minutes UD Timpu got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Portal. In the 3rd match minute, New Hogwarts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guagua Flores to maneuver through the defense. After 4 played minutes UD Timpu got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Portal. After 7 played minutes UD Timpu got a freekick which was hit by Macías Pellon. Fabian Bonachea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to New Hogwarts getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Roman Oraa hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quiñónez Alison in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Asencio Fuertehijar saved New Hogwarts from getting behind. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Quiñónez Alison sped through New Hogwarts's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Asencio Fuertehijar. If Antonio Pujol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. New Hogwarts's Asencio Fuertehijar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quiñónez Alison in the 21st minute of play. Antonio Pujol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asencio Fuertehijar having to interfere. Quiñónez Alison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Asencio Fuertehijar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fabian Bonachea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of New Hogwarts booed when UD Timpu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valerio Ascarretazabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Escalante, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Guagua Flores struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Macías Yanguas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Hogwarts. After a defensive mix-up in New Hogwarts's zone, Quiñónez Alison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asencio Fuertehijar came out of the goal and Quiñónez Alison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Bonachea made a kick off. Antonio Pujol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Asencio Fuertehijar made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, New Hogwarts's goal looked a bit too open when Quiñónez Alison came free, but Asencio Fuertehijar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asencio Fuertehijar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quiñónez Alison, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Asencio Fuertehijar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Quiñónez Alison showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 67 minute of play. In the 70th minute, Antonio Pujol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Timpu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. With a little luck, New Hogwarts's Asencio Fuertehijar got control of the ball when Antonio Pujol tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quiñónez Alison in the 82nd minute of play forced New Hogwarts's goalkeeper Asencio Fuertehijar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, UD Timpu's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Bonachea came free, but Macías Yanguas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the UD Timpu defense, Fabian Bonachea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Macías Yanguas. The UD Timpu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Macías Yanguas should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. UD Timpu had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
