After some careless play in the UD Cachitoma defense, Fabian Bonachea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paolo Bugedo. The UD Cachitoma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paolo Bugedo should have stopped the shot. Guagua Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Bugedo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guagua Flores in the 28th minute of play forced UD Cachitoma's goalkeeper Paolo Bugedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Bonachea to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xurxo Fidalgo during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Xurxo Fidalgo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Fabian Bonachea was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. New Hogwarts's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fabian Bonachea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paolo Bugedo came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabian Bonachea slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 95th minute. The New Hogwarts supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing New Hogwarts would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
