Alejandro Mauricio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ramon Barja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, ATLETICO LUCCIANA's Ramon Barja got control of the ball when Alejandro Mauricio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rosero Collazos kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Alejandro Mauricios short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Ramon Barja to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 17 minutes into the match, ATLETICO LUCCIANA's goalkeeper Ramon Barja had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Mauricio. Felipe Burell kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When Estacio Santillana came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the ATLETICO LUCCIANA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Estacio Santillana couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusebio Maiorga during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eusebio Maiorga kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, MONTUFAR's goal looked a bit too open when Valencia Fortes came free, but Ivan Guztros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Valencia Fortes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes MONTUFAR got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Maiorga. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Estacio Santillana to make the kick off. The supporters of MONTUFAR booed when ATLETICO LUCCIANA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Sala didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Estacio Santillana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 minutes, James Cervilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ATLETICO LUCCIANA and the MONTUFAR players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ATLETICO LUCCIANA getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. James Cervilla hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Alejandro Mauricio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of ATLETICO LUCCIANA's Ramon Barja. Ramon Barja was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valencia Fortes charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valencia Fortes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valencia Fortes hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. MONTUFAR's Fabricio Clavijo got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valencia Fortes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Valencia Fortes managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATLETICO LUCCIANA's supporters rose to their feet, but Valencia Fortes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Guztros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ATLETICO LUCCIANA's Ramon Barja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Mauricio in the 86th minute of play. Alejandro Mauricio took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramon Barja. Ramon Barja dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 96th minute Estacio Santillana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Guztros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the MONTUFAR players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
