In the 26th match minute, Arajuno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Lejobeitia to maneuver through the defense. After 30 played minutes XT Xtreme Team got a freekick which was hit by Parrales Telo. Marcelino Lejobeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Marco having to interfere. Edmundo Marco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cortez Barbanera, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A collision led to XT Xtreme Team getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Fernandez Abres hit a great ball. When Fernandez Abres came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the XT Xtreme Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandez Abres couldn't finish the play. Arajuno FC's Leon Pravia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernandez Abres in the 43rd minute of play. If Elias Oliva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 55 played minutes XT Xtreme Team got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Affonso. 59 minutes into the match, XT Xtreme Team's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Lejobeitia came free, but Edmundo Marco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. XT Xtreme Team's Edmundo Marco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Lejobeitia in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Oliva in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Pravia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elias Oliva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Pravia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Marcelino Lejobeitia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 79 minutes, Norberto Doral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arajuno FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Doral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norberto Doral who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Edmundo Marco when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
