When Ferrer Marcha fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gamines FC's protests and gave Ferrer Marcha a yellow card for diving instead. Ferrer Marcha kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Xosepin Villaspasa charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xosepin Villaspasa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arlín Rendueles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Sánchez Bardon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruperto Ladrada charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruperto Ladrada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gamines FC booed when Toscon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Ladrada didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Arlín Rendueles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gamines FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arlín Rendueles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sánchez Bardon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Toscon's Ruperto Ladrada got a free kick in the 27th minute. Arlín Rendueles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sánchez Bardon having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Gamines FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cruz Requena to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the game, Alex Viveros landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. A collision led to Gamines FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Arlín Rendueles hit a great ball. If Agustín Corrillos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustín Corrillos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Urdaspal Belaustegui stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Sotomayor Landaluce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustín Corrillos in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Ororbia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arlín Rendueles's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sánchez Bardon firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rolando Ororbia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Corrillos in the 61st minute of play. Cruz Requena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Sánchez Bardon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urdaspal Belaustegui in the 75th minute of play forced Toscon's goalkeeper Sánchez Bardon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venceslas Riego kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute Toscon were awarded a corner. Julian Sevillano went to the cornerflag to take it. 91 minutes into the game, Arlín Rendueles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sánchez Bardon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gamines FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
