Gomez Aldeco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Real Guayaquil F.C's Castillo Porrata was substituted for Songur Tekgül. UD Sigsihuayco's Urrutia Bellmunt got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Real Guayaquil F.C's Gomez Aldeco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klement Pleban in the 84th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeruko Iruleta during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute, one of Real Guayaquil F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real Guayaquil F.C.
