CD Tiki's Emilio Sagredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xamin Renteria in the 20th minute of play. If Xamin Renteria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24thth minute of the game Casado Maestu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Tiki's Emilio Sagredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Casado Maestu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilio Sagredo. CD Tiki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casado Maestu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casado Maestu in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Sagredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Chimbocal FC's Xamin Renteria in 38 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Emilio Sagredo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 44thth minute of the game Casado Maestu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Tiki's Emilio Sagredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bran Balerdi to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Chimbocal FC's Emilio Sagredo threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Casado Maestu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Saritama Valiño managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Tiki's supporters rose to their feet, but Saritama Valiño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Lastra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th match minute, CD Tiki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Ozaolaza to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Sagredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casado Maestu's shot from short distance in the 76th minute.
