In the 17th minute, Xelo Aspiazu made a precise shot to the right of Castro Ribera. Ocampo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Ocampo's Carlos-Armando Bargues sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Lorenz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Xzaver Villena hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Venerando Navagos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Xelo Aspiazu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Castro Ribera having to interfere. When George Pelayo came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Ocampo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Pelayo couldn't finish the play. Alexander Miro's late challenge caught a Galera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexander Miro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ocampo's Alexander Miro got a free kick in the 39th minute. If Carlos-Armando Bargues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Galera's goal looked a bit too open when George Pelayo came free, but Roberto Lorenz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xelo Aspiazu to strike the kick off in the second half. Castro Ribera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xelo Aspiazu's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Jeremias Mendialdura took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Roberto Lorenz to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos-Armando Bargues in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Lorenz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venerando Navagos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 64 minutes into the game, Eduardo Oñez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ocampo the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Galera fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Ocampo. Marcelo Ajorbe stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Roberto Lorenz. 1-2. The supporters of Galera booed when Ocampo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Mendialdura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Lorenz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Pelayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Venerando Navagos during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Galera getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Venerando Navagos hit a great ball. Venerando Navagos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Castro Ribera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. When Ocampo's George Pelayo in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Galera's goalie prevented a goal. When Carlos-Armando Bargues fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ocampo's protests and gave Carlos-Armando Bargues a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos-Armando Bargues hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Ocampo's Carlos-Armando Bargues came free and shot a quick shot against goal 94 minutes in the game, fortunately Roberto Lorenz had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Roberto Lorenz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Pelayo in the 96th minute of play. George Pelayo struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Roberto Lorenz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ocampo. The Ocampo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
