Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vistruario Modet kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, UD Molinopamba's Ximenes Babia got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Isaac Eguiara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Isaac Eguiara managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Molinopamba's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Eguiara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Caruezo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cruz Mazuca hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vistruario Modet in the 15th minute of play forced Putumayo FC's goalkeeper Vicente Caruezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ximenes Babia kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Orlando Marimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Algarte in the 20th minute of play. Vicente Caruezo made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Isaac Eguiara sent off a good shot on target. After 30 minutes of play, Putumayo FC's Fidel Valda made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orlando Marimon was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute Anibal Algarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Marimon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, UD Molinopamba's Isaac Eguiara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Caruezo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Urrutia Gante hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Vistruario Modet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Vistruario Modet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Caruezo was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. In the 48th match minute, UD Molinopamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zayvion Farre to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Valda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th match minute, Putumayo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urrutia Gante to maneuver through the defense. After 61 minutes Putumayo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mario Siruendo who took care of the corner kick. Vicente Caruezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vistruario Modet, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Molinopamba's goalkeeper Orlando Marimon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Anibal Algarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fidel Valda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Marimon having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Cruz Mazuca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Putumayo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cruz Mazuca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Marimon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vistruario Modet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UD Molinopamba's Orlando Marimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Valda in the 94th minute of play. Fidel Valda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Orlando Marimon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Putumayo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Putumayo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
