Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Mortal in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Coleira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 9 minutes of play, CD Cuchitingue's Henry Mortal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Coleira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 14 minutes, Ulizes Olivan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Chaquir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulizes Olivan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, UD Chaquir's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Sobrefuentes came free, but Marco Coleira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Sobrefuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Henry Mortal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Coleira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Marco Coleira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Mortal, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The supporters of UD Chaquir booed when CD Cuchitingue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Zabala didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, UD Chaquir's Reynaldo Amenedo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 46 minutes into the game, Henry Mortal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Marco Coleira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half CD Cuchitingue were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Viladrosa made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Marco Sobrefuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Cuchitingue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Sobrefuentes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Sobrefuentes struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Marco Coleira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CD Cuchitingue. Xavon Llano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Viladrosa in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the UD Chaquir defense, Marco Sobrefuentes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Coleira. The UD Chaquir fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Coleira should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Cuchitingue's goalkeeper Xavon Llano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When UD Chaquir's Sergio Deleon in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Cuchitingue's goalie prevented a goal. Telmo Zabala charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 89th minute Ulizes Olivan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavon Llano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xavon Llano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Viladrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
