After 39 played minutes Solitarios SC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Provencio.

The wind increased when Ximenez Insausti made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th match minute, Dynamo FC Guayaquil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiriboga Artaza to maneuver through the defense. Zernin Campo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Provencio in the 64th minute of play. When Ximenez Insausti came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Solitarios SC fans jumped to their feet. Zosimo Hubieta's late challenge caught a Dynamo FC Guayaquil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Solitarios SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xzavion Rabanal to maneuver through the defense. Machado Oces made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Chiriboga Artaza sent off a good shot on target. Solitarios SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
