When Hugo Cañellas came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Pisangacho SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Cañellas couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Marianito SC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Alessandro Sisquella hit a great ball.

After 54 played minutes Marianito SC got a freekick which was hit by Guamán Prieto. After recieving a nice pass, Pisangacho SC's Virila Mazas tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Marianito SC fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Marianito SC's Borja Lerin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 63rd minute, Marianito SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hugo Cañellas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Borja Lerin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marianito SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Borja Lerin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Aquino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elvis Cotarelo's late challenge caught a Pisangacho SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elvis Cotarelo helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes Marianito SC got a freekick which was hit by Elvis Cotarelo. Pavel Amileta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Lucio Barcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hugo Cañellas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Marianito SC defense, Hugo Cañellas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucio Barcia. The Marianito SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucio Barcia should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Pisangacho SC's Hugo Cañellas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucio Barcia narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
