The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Grueso Cejudo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Aluburo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chachacito the free kick. In the 9th minute, Grueso Cejudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 played minutes UD Aluburo got a freekick which was hit by Grueso Cejudo. Francisco Arijola was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tercero Magdalena hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Salas Gavito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peter Balbanea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cumbicus Barboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, UD Aluburo's Segundo Marco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Balbanea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Cumbicus Barboa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Balbanea was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 31 minutes into the game, Tercero Magdalena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the game, Cumbicus Barboa lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Peter Balbanea. After a rather tough play, UD Aluburo's Cumbicus Barboa got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Salas Gavito made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, UD Aluburo's goalkeeper Anibal Docanado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salas Gavito. Salas Gavito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Anibal Docanado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 played minutes UD Aluburo got a freekick which was hit by Aragón Aguiluz. In the 72nd minute Salas Gavito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Docanado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Segundo Marco might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter Balbanea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Segundo Marco ran back to his position shaking his head. Chachacito's Peter Balbanea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Marco in the 77th minute of play. Zabal Olañeta hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Cumbicus Barboa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Segundo Marco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Peter Balbanea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Cumbicus Barboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Aluburo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cumbicus Barboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, UD Aluburo's Tercero Magdalena got a free kick in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that UD Aluburo were the better team. UD Aluburo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
