Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Valle's Fabio Licon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santos Cortun in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateus Carrillo saved Valle from getting behind. In the 5th minute, Espínola Berroa made a precise shot to the right of Mateus Carrillo. Valle's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Espínola Berroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Mateus Carrillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateus Carrillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Espínola Berroa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateus Carrillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Cortun, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Mateus Carrillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santos Cortun went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Alvaro Gaiztarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gómez Arnedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Licon was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Valle's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 23 minutes into the match, UD Chihuinda's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Licon came free, but Gómez Arnedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute Fabio Licon suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Cruz Bengolea charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cruz Bengolea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of UD Chihuinda:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Valle:s goal. In the 27th minute, Valle got a penalty, and Hugo Pellicer placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. UD Chihuinda's Espínola Berroa got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santos Cortun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Espínola Berroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Santos Cortun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus Carrillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. UD Chihuinda's Gómez Arnedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save UD Chihuinda from getting a goal against them. Gómez Arnedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Gaiztarro in the 39th minute. After the first half UD Chihuinda were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santos Cortun to make the kick off. In the 53rd of the match, Santos Cortun tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Mateus Carrillo got in the way and made a wonderful save. Alvaro Gaiztarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Juan-Pablo Cepa from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Mateus Carrillo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Zamora Tazon kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Alvaro Gaiztarro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gómez Arnedo. UD Chihuinda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Gaiztarro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Mateus Carrillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Cortun, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The supporters of Valle booed when UD Chihuinda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Larreta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Santos Cortun managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Chihuinda's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Cortun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateus Carrillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute Santos Cortun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus Carrillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Valle's goalkeeper Mateus Carrillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Espínola Berroa. In the 89th minute Alvaro Gaiztarro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gómez Arnedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th match minute, UD Chihuinda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan-Pablo Cepa to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
