Caples's Claudio Durazo got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Gildo SC's goal looked a bit too open when Minda Gorvea came free, but Zernin Bidania reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urti Rasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Samuel Docio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vito Frexes kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Jose-Antonio Castejon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Claudio Durazo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caples's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Durazo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudio Durazo struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Zernin Bidania didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caples. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urti Rasa to make the kick off. Samuel Docio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urti Rasa in the 52nd minute of the match. Caples's Minda Gorvea got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zernin Bidania took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Durazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urti Rasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Docio having to interfere. Minda Gorvea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernandez Herbon's late challenge caught a Gildo SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernandez Herbon helped the player get up and apologised. Fernandez Herbon kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Jose-Antonio Castejon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan-Carlos Cascallana hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 92nd match minute, Gildo SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urti Rasa to maneuver through the defense.
