Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) UD Panguintza's Domingo Espina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the UD Panguintza defense, Chucho Via kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lavallén Castriciones. The UD Panguintza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lavallén Castriciones should have stopped the shot. Chucho Via blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lavallén Castriciones having to make a save. Xavieon Marimon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Libertad Arandoja showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. UD Panguintza's Lavallén Castriciones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ayoví Zornoza in the 23rd minute of play. Teodoro Villaseca charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Villaseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jácome Bayo struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Xavieon Marimon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Panguintza. Xavieon Marimon was a little too slow when Domingo Espina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Panguintza's goalkeeper Lavallén Castriciones, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Socotroco FC's Diaz Santana got a free kick in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, UD Panguintza's Jácome Bayo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 42 minutes into the game, one of Socotroco FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chucho Via made a kick off. Lavallén Castriciones made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Chucho Via sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute of the match Jácome Bayo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xavieon Marimon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Chucho Via had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lavallén Castriciones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubén Herrada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Domingo Espina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavieon Marimon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th match minute, UD Panguintza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Cabaña to maneuver through the defense. UD Panguintza's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Rubén Herrada scored to the left of an out of position Lavallén Castriciones, making the score, 2-4. Lavallén Castriciones made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chucho Via in the 85th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Socotroco FC's Rubén Herrada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lavallén Castriciones narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, UD Panguintza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Libertad Arandoja to maneuver through the defense. Chucho Via received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lavallén Castriciones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Socotroco FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than UD Panguintza.
