The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Xavierlada Ruperto lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Positos SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pancho SC:s goal. Gustavo Durazno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Torga having to interfere. Gustavo Durazno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Angel Torga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Durazno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Poroso Barbeito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zoil Torices took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Pijuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Poroso Barbeito fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zoil Torices, passed just outside the right post. Positos SC's Zoil Torices played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Pijuan in the 38th minute of play. Poroso Barbeito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zoil Torices made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Pijuan in the 45th minute of play. In the 49th of the match, Rodolfo Pijuan tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Zoil Torices got in the way and made a wonderful save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodolfo Pijuan was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Positos SC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Candelario Balsera hit a great ball. When Poroso Barbeito came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Pancho SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Poroso Barbeito couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Pijuan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zoil Torices was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. When Candelario Balsera came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Positos SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candelario Balsera couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Poroso Barbeito in the 73rd minute of play forced Positos SC's goalkeeper Zoil Torices to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poroso Barbeito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Positos SC defense, Poroso Barbeito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zoil Torices. The Positos SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zoil Torices should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Durazno in the 87th minute of play forced Pancho SC's goalkeeper Angel Torga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poroso Barbeito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zoil Torices having to interfere. If Rodolfo Pijuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pancho SC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
