Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Teodoro Miñon kicked off to start the match. Xorxe Cachon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Miñon in the 3rd minute of play. Lopez Amador showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Zubiaga in the 5th minute of the match. Manuel Zubiaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lopez Amador having to interfere. In the 11th minute Vela Sandoval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lopez Amador saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Guarainag's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Miñon came free, but Xorxe Cachon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to CD Desecho getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Celso Rumayor hit a great ball. Manuel Zubiaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lopez Amador having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Guarainag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Cotes to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Miñon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Guarainag booed when CD Desecho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Valera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Zubiaga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lopez Amador read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Guarainag getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Reyes Sisquella hit a great ball. Manuel Zubiaga might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lopez Amador. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Zubiaga ran back to his position shaking his head. After 44 played minutes CD Desecho got a freekick which was hit by Castro Banzo. 47 minutes into the match, Guarainag's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Miñon came free, but Xorxe Cachon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Vela Sandoval made the kick off in the second half. When Bottero Aleja fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Desecho's protests and gave Bottero Aleja a yellow card for diving instead. Bottero Aleja hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 56 minutes of play, CD Desecho's Raimundo Valera made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xorxe Cachon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Celso Rumayor scored 2-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xorxe Cachon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Manuel Zubiaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Teodoro Miñon made a precise shot to the right of Xorxe Cachon. Guarainag's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. A collision led to CD Desecho getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Bottero Aleja hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeledon Cotes in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lopez Amador saved CD Desecho from getting behind. In the 95th match minute, Guarainag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Secilia to maneuver through the defense. Marco Veleña was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Guarainag's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
