Dani Theas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee gave Delta FC a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dani Theas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Duran City's Estrada Taladriz. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Delta FC's Dani Theas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Estrada Taladriz. That made the score 2-0 after 8 minutes of play. Dani Theas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Estrada Taladriz made a huge save. Pablo Morente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramirez Canzino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Chavez during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Delta FC's Vera Teixido got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Estrada Taladriz managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Delta FC's Dani Theas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Duran City booed when Delta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquez Barria didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Umea Noboa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pablo Morente showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Dani Theas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Delta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Hugo Guisasola kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Vera Teixido fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Dani Theas came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Delta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dani Theas couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Dani Theas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 36th minute, Vera Teixido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dani Theas in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Estrada Taladriz saved Duran City from getting behind. Edmundo Cagigal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Estrada Taladriz came out and tried to block the shot, but Edmundo Cagigal slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 43rd minute. Dani Theas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estrada Taladriz having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramirez Canzino was the one to do the kick off. Vera Teixido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estrada Taladriz having to interfere. Dani Theas struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Estrada Taladriz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Delta FC. 57 minutes into the game, Gonzales Herezuelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Duran City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delta FC the free kick. The supporters of Delta FC booed when Duran City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzales Herezuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Dani Theas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Estrada Taladriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64th play minutes Dani Theas shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Estrada Taladriz and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 67th minute, Dani Theas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute Asencio Narez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Estrada Taladriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Dani Theas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Estrada Taladriz. Duran City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dani Theas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Dani Theas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Estrada Taladriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dani Theas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Delta FC fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Delta FC's Dani Theas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ambrossi Bielva hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Parisi Ledrado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pablo Morente having to make a save. 87 minutes into the game, Delta FC's Dani Theas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Estrada Taladriz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Delta FC's attentive Edmundo Cagigal managed to snatch the ball when Mateo Lalo made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. After having played for 93 minutes, Vera Teixido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vera Teixido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Dani Theas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Delta FC fully deserved thier win.
