Rafael Torriba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asensio Castejana in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Travesao booed when CD Palacios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valerio Ondovilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Flecha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guagua Bujan went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Rafael Torriba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Marines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Travesao's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Marines came free, but Rafael Torriba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jonatan Marines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CD Palacios's Asensio Castejana managed to work through Travesao's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Asensio Castejana dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guagua Bujan to strike the kick off in the second half. Asensio Castejana might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Torriba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Asensio Castejana ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Mañes during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Travesao booed when CD Palacios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Mañes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asensio Castejana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Rafael Torriba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Torriba was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Humberto Pino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Humberto Pino really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The audience was convinced that Guagua Bujan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lorenzo Flecha was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Celso Hermida blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorenzo Flecha having to make a save. In the 85th minute, Patricio Chasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonatan Marines received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rafael Torriba came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonatan Marines slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 91st minute. The supporters of Travesao booed when CD Palacios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Villarreal Langarica didn't get a good kick on the ball. CD Palacios's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
